Review of the Elomi Betty Plunge Bra by Blogger Fuller Figure Fuller Bust

Posted by danielle kisby on

There’s something so classy, elegant and yet fun about this bra, and it really shows just how far Elomi have come in terms of designing underwear for women who are larger and bustier but still want to ooze sex appeal in a gorgeous set of undies

I have yet to meet a women who doesn’t adore polka dots, and so the beautiful deep blue Betty gets a huge tick from me for that. Then there’s the stitched rose detailing on the edge of the cups that sits beautifully and delicately on the bust. And of course the bows are a stunning finishing touch that is always a welcome addition on any piece of lingerie.
Betty is available from a 34 – 46 back, D – HH cups. She is a three part contructed non padded plunge bra and has fully adjustable straps and three hooks and eyes. Here is how she looked on me:

I was lucky enough to get an absolutely spot on fit first time around in Ashley, and this set is 36H/14. The band was perfectly firm and didn’t rub or ride up. I was fully encased in the cups, even after a full day’s wear. The fabric feels very sheer and sexy, and was very comfortable when it came to the bra. It is a tiny bit low under my arms, but it wasn’t uncomfortable, I just oozed a slight bit of under arm fat. However, when it came to knickers it was quite a change to have something that moved that much under trousers on my derriere, as I am used to for fitting pants or thongs. I must say that I was somewhat shocked to find that some size 14 knickers fit me, but they were perfect and quite a flattering cut.

The bra is a plunge bra, and I am used to plunge bras being low yet pushing me up and together. Betty does give me a certain boost, but she is a little more demure than my other plunges. She will be perfect under my lower dresses that call for a little less boob room but are quite low cut and maybe don’t call for such an ‘in your face’ cleavage.

The bra gave me a really rounded projected shape, although I was ever so slightly compressed where the rose detailing sat. However, it was not noticeable under clothes and certainly didn’t warrant me going up a cup.
All in all I am pretty happy with Betty, and I’ve definitely got my eye on the red version…

What do you think of Betty? Or Elomi in general? Are you impressed? Have you tried them out?
